Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: August 30, 2026

At GuessPick (https://guesspick.com), we believe in complete transparency with our readers. This page explains how we fund our operations, what affiliate links are, how they work on our site, and — most importantly — how we ensure they never compromise the honesty of our content.

What Are Affiliate Links?

Affiliate links are specially tracked URLs that connect you to a third-party website — such as an online store, a SaaS platform, or a service provider. When you click one of these links and complete a qualifying action (such as making a purchase, signing up for a free trial, or subscribing to a service), GuessPick may receive a small commission from the merchant.

This commission comes directly from the merchant, not from you. You never pay any extra by using our affiliate links. In many cases, we negotiate exclusive discounts or offers that may actually save you money compared to visiting the merchant directly.

Where Do Affiliate Links Appear?

You may find affiliate links in the following types of content across our website:

  • Product & Service Reviews — Links to the products, apps, tools, or services we review, often directing you to the official website or a trusted retailer.
  • Side-by-Side Comparisons — Links to both (or all) options being compared, so you can explore each one further.
  • Buying Guides — Links to our recommended picks at various price points and use cases.
  • Blog Posts & Articles — Contextual mentions of tools, services, or products that include affiliate links where relevant.
  • Buttons & Call-to-Action Elements — “Check Price,” “Visit Website,” “Try Free,” “Buy Now,” and similar buttons may contain affiliate links.

We clearly indicate affiliate relationships where required by law. If you are ever unsure whether a link is an affiliate link, you can hover over it — affiliate links typically contain tracking parameters in the URL.

Affiliate Programs We Participate In

GuessPick is a participant in several affiliate programs, which may include but are not limited to:

  • Amazon Associates Program — As an Amazon Associate, GuessPick earns from qualifying purchases made through links to Amazon.com and its regional counterparts.
  • Impact, ShareASale, CJ Affiliate, Awin & Other Networks — We partner with various affiliate networks that connect us to hundreds of brands across categories including technology, software, finance, health, and lifestyle.
  • Direct Brand Partnerships — Some companies offer their own affiliate or referral programs that we participate in directly.

This list may change over time as we add or remove affiliate partnerships. The presence or absence of an affiliate relationship with a company has no bearing on whether we choose to review, compare, or recommend their product.

Our Editorial Independence Policy

This is the most important section of this disclosure. Our editorial integrity is non-negotiable.

What We Guarantee

  • Affiliate commissions never influence our ratings. Every product and service is evaluated on its own merits — features, value, usability, reliability, and real user feedback. A product that pays a higher commission will never receive a better score because of it.
  • We review and recommend first, monetise second. We only add affiliate links to products we have already evaluated and genuinely believe are worth your consideration. We never pick a product to review just because it offers an affiliate program.
  • Comparison verdicts are based on evidence, not revenue. When we declare a winner in a comparison, it’s because the data, testing, and analysis support that conclusion — not because one side pays more.
  • We include non-affiliate alternatives. If the best option for our readers doesn’t have an affiliate program, we still recommend it. You’ll regularly find us recommending free tools, open-source software, or brands we have no financial relationship with.
  • Negative reviews are published without hesitation. If a product is bad, we say so — even if it has an affiliate link, even if we’ve earned commissions from it in the past, and even if the brand is a partner.

What We Never Do

  • We never accept payment in exchange for a positive review or a higher rating.
  • We never let a brand approve, edit, or influence our editorial content before publication.
  • We never adjust comparison outcomes to favour a higher-paying affiliate partner.
  • We never hide or downplay a product’s flaws because of an affiliate relationship.
  • We never create fake urgency, misleading claims, or deceptive recommendations to drive affiliate clicks.

Sponsored Content

On occasion, GuessPick may publish sponsored content — articles, reviews, or features that are paid for by a brand or company. When this happens:

  • The content is always clearly labelled as “Sponsored” or “Paid Partnership” at the top of the page.
  • Sponsored content is held to the same editorial standards as all other content on the site. We do not publish sponsored articles that are misleading, inaccurate, or that we wouldn’t stand behind editorially.
  • Sponsors do not get to dictate the conclusions, ratings, or recommendations in sponsored content. If we accept a sponsorship, the brand agrees to our editorial independence upfront.

Sponsored content represents a small fraction of our total output. The vast majority of our content is independently produced and funded through affiliate commissions and advertising.

Advertising

GuessPick may display advertisements from third-party ad networks on certain pages. These ads are clearly distinguishable from editorial content. Advertisers do not have any influence over our reviews, comparisons, or recommendations. The presence of an ad for a product does not indicate an endorsement.

Product Samples & Free Access

In some cases, brands may provide us with free product samples, trial accounts, or review units so that we can evaluate them. When this occurs:

  • We disclose it within the relevant review or article.
  • Receiving a free product does not guarantee a positive review or any review at all.
  • We maintain the same critical standards regardless of how we obtained access to the product.

How You Can Support GuessPick

If you find our content helpful, one of the best ways to support us is by using our links when you decide to purchase a product or sign up for a service we’ve recommended. It costs you nothing extra and helps us continue producing free, independent content for everyone.

You can also support us by:
